There have been many improvements after using realXtend; more detailed characters
and props modeling and fast network latency, for example. However, there are still rooms
for improvement with realXtend.
The biggest problem is that large size texture files cannot be used with objects and
as a result images in the game are blurred and bump mapping cannot be applied to
objects. Also, it is impossible to render shadows in realXtend.
To improve the visual quality of movie, I have experimented with other game engines
during the winter break and found the game engine Unity. The biggest merit of using Unity
is to create a web-based 3d space so that people can look around the 3D space without
installing software.

"Reward"

This is Look and Feel Precedent
Producer : Cozmik Harmony
Director : Satyajit Chakraborty
The animation "Reward" is about 4 minutues 3D animation film
based on the story Aesop's fable "The Wolf and Crane".
The story goes that there was a wolf who had a bone stuck in his
throat after eating an animal. He soon felt terrible pain
in his throat and asked the crane for help to remove the bone.
Then the crane put her head into his mouth and draw out the bone
and asked the promised reward. The wolf said: "You have already
had a sufficient reward. You still alive after putting your head
inside a wolf's mouth."
I was inspired of the background of movie which is produced by
matte painting technique. The conventional 3D animation usually
was made using 3d object for making characters and environment.
I think that the matte painting skill in 3D animation have the
merit of dealing with a fairy tale or fable story.
